Amaretti biscuits are a traditional Italian treat.
They are delicious with a cup of tea
or coffee and they are also a versatile
ingredient in many dessert recipes.

Amaretti and Mascarpone torte

Difficulty: easy

Preparation time: 15 minutes

(serves 6 to 8)
Doria Amaretti biscuits, lightly crushed 100gk
Melted butter 50g
Mascarpone cheese 500g
Sifted icing sugar 40g
Limes - finely grated zest & juice 2


Mix crushed Amaretti biscuits and melted butter.
Press into base of a 7 inch loose bottomed cake tin.

Blend throughly the mascarpone cheese, icing sugar, lime zest and juice. Spread over the biscuits base.

Chill for about 30 minutes.
Decorate with slices of lemon or lime, and frosted grapes.
