Point on breakfast!
A healthy breakfast is very important for giving our body the energy required for tackling daily tasks. According to nutritionists, breakfast should give at least 20-25% of total calories.
Choose an apple and orange shake, skimmed yoghurt, or milk, a few Doria biscuits or Doria crackers with just a little jam. You'll have your fill of vitamins and the carbohydrates will activate the cells of the nervous system and give you enough energy up to lunchtime, not to mention a nice amount of fibres.
Talking about sport...
Sport helps you burn calories, helps keep cholesterol levels and blood pressure low, stimulates the secretion of endorphins linked to wellbeing. That's right: physical activity has many benefits, physical and psychological! Avoid tiring gym sessions: 30 minutes, three times a week are enough. Choose aerobic activities that need constant effort and that aren't too intense or prolonged over time, such as cycling, swimming or jogging.
Gentle gymnastics such as Pilates is excellent, which moves deep muscles and is useful for elasticity and posture balancing.
Walk, walk!
If you can't go to the gym, walk quickly and continuously, for around half an hour without stopping, and breathe taking in as much air as possible. Benefits: accelerates the metabolism, sends oxygen to the organs and makes skin shiny.

How to eat healthily by following the classical Mediterranean diet? Five meals a day divided as follows: generous breakfast, a morning snack with fruit or crackers, a light lunch with pasta or vegetables - if you have a difficult day ahead eat as much iron as possible - meat or legumes - an afternoon snack and for dinner a second course with vegetables and fruit. Eat fish at least three times a week; it's rich in group B vitamins and omega 3 acids, which reduce blood fat and fight the accumulation of adipose cells.
Keep your mind active with a hobby
Playing an instrument, reading, dancing and in general cultivating a pleasant activity stimulates the brain cells and helps keep your mind active. Seeing friends and cultivating social relations improves intelligence and curiosity.
Learn to breathe!
To relax the tension and stress built up during the day and to prepare your good night's rest, learn to breathe. Sit down, close your eyes, join your hands at chest level and breathe in and out slowly and regularly. Concentrate on how the air moves from nostrils to lungs and from lungs to nostrils. Repeat 30 times. Hold you hands above your head for the last 3 breaths. Finally, visualise a picture in your mind that you find pleasant and relaxing (a sunset, the sea, grassy fields) and push away negative thoughts by closing them in a bubble that slowly floats away.
