Use a metal box or, as an alternative, a ceramic container, better if plain-coloured.
Now choose the stickers (you can find them at a stationery's) to make your best-liked designs and illustrations. Give free reign to your imagination!
You can use the stickers for reproducing a ready-made drawing, such as a floral composition made up of stalks, leaves, petals, or for creating a geometrical-optical composition or even a graffiti illustration with words and symbols...
Take one or more photographs, place them on the box and apply the stickers on the four sides of the picture as a sort of "trompe-l'oeuil" frame; make sure that at least half of the sticker surface adheres to the box.

If you want to cover the box with a special background and then place the stickers on this, buy some adhesive paper (you can find it in stationery's and DIY shops), cut out the paper so that it will cover the box and then glue the pieces to it.
